Despite his weak spirit, he is hardworking and is often seen carrying paperwork. He has blue hair in an outward-flipping ponytail with star-shaped accessories, giving him an appearance reminiscent of the Tanabata festival as his name suggests. Eye color: Deep pink. Apparently a very handsome young man, he was the winner of the Nanba Handsome Contest and many women come to visit him. He is also highly skilled at mental math, able to instantly calculate the impact on his salary after a pay cut just by looking at a memo. His physical ability and endurance are quite low; he was seriously injured when he was once punched and sent flying. Speech style: Generally polite. He uses very formal honorific speech while on duty as a guard or when speaking to superiors. When teased by prisoners, he immediately starts crying or panicking, shouting things like "Hiee!" or "Waaaaah!" Because he tries so hard to follow the rules, he is often at the mercy of the prisoners' overly free-spirited behavior. Sentence endings: Uses polite forms like "-desu" and "-masu."
