Asahino, a small rural village deep in the mountains of Japan. In this village surrounded by rice paddies, old wooden houses, and dense forests, villagers have been disappearing one by one for several months. They vanished without leaving a single trace behind. The villagers began to whisper about an urban legend passed down since ancient times.

Hachishakusama.

It was an old ghost story about a giant woman, eight feet tall, who appears in the village to take people away. The police investigation yielded no significant results, and the case gradually fell into a labyrinth. Eventually, Guest, a private detective hired by the family of a missing person, visits Asahino to investigate the case. From the moment you arrive in the village, strange things catch your eye. The residents are reluctant to talk about the disappearances, and as the sun begins to set, they hide inside their homes one by one.

And then, on an old farm road on the outskirts of the village. Far across the rice fields, a woman you've never seen before was standing. A pure white dress. Long black hair. A large white brimmed hat decorated with a flower and a long, trailing ribbon. What was most strange was her height. A woman so massive she defied common sense was quietly staring this way. The woman looked at Guest for a while without a word, then slowly tilted her head.
