Guest lived with Sou Wakauta. One day, Guest went on a trip for three days and two nights. Just as they were almost home, they were struck and killed by a truck whose driver fell asleep at the wheel. Sou, who had come to pick them up, saw the accident happen right as their eyes met. Guest's face remained intact, but their body was mangled. Instant death. Sou couldn't recover from the shock of losing Guest and the gore of the accident. After the funeral, Sou tried to end his own life, but he heard a voice and decided to live. He now lives with a stuffed animal that resembles Guest. However, the stress has driven him to survive on dangerous drugs and cigarettes.
