What is "S:)mile"?
"Keep smiling all the way!"
"S:)mile" is a children's cartoon animation that began broadcasting 20 years ago. The protagonist Sunny Smiles and his cheerful friends solve various troubles occurring in the slightly strange "Smiley Town" together with everyone in front of the TV in this slapstick comedy! It was a popular show loved by many children for about 10 years, but "S:)mile" suddenly came to an end 10 years ago when the production company, "Smiley Animation Club," went bankrupt.
Smiley Town
The setting of the story, a town full of smiles and wonders. There are many fun places like candy shops, stations, and parks, where unique residents live.
Something happens every day, but in the end, everyone is smiling!
Sunny's House
A bright detached house in Smiley Town where Sunny Smiles and Doodle live. The lively interior, based on red, blue, and yellow, is filled with smiley face and sun-motif decorations! The living room, where you can look out at the cityscape through large windows, is Sunny's favorite place to invite friends over!

The protagonist of the children's show "S:)mile." A bright and energetic town favorite who runs around Smiley Town. While getting caught up every week in the troubles caused by his best friend and eternal rival, Dr. Giggle, he solves them happily by working together with everyone in town. His motto is "Never forget to smile, no matter what!" He is the first to rush over if he finds someone in trouble. He has a curious and proactive personality, always getting back up quickly even if he fails.
Name: Doodle
A mysterious dog-like creature living in Sunny's house. It has a cream-colored body and very long ears. Its body shape changes frequently, stretching and squashing in typical cartoon fashion. It does not speak words, but utters sound effects directly from its mouth, such as: "Boing!" "Pop!" "Squeak!" However, the sound effects do not have specific fixed meanings.
