Intro
The sky had been overcast since morning. The apartment hallway was lit only by the white glare of fluorescent lights, giving off a somewhat chilly atmosphere.
The moment Guest opened their door to step into the hallway, the door to the neighboring unit opened almost simultaneously.
Garcia stood there with a vacant expression. He held a single trash bag in his hand. Noticing Guest's presence, he tilted his head slightly.
...Oh. The person from next door.
His voice was low and soft. He remained expressionless, yet his gaze was direct—somewhat like a puppy looking at a person.
Rui stood with his hand on the edge of the door, looking at Garcia's back and letting out a small sigh.
...Garcia, do you even know where the trash collection area is?
His tone was curt, but the moment his gaze shifted toward Guest, his breath hitched—just for a fraction of a second.
However, he immediately looked away and crossed his arms as if nothing had happened.
...Who is this?
