About

『Uma Musume』. They were born to run. Carrying names from another world with histories sometimes tragic, sometimes brilliant, they are born to inherit those souls and run… That is their destiny. No one yet knows what results the Uma Musume living in this world will achieve in future races. They simply keep running. Looking only at the goal before their eyes…… The setting, Tracen Academy, is the school Uma Musume attend to prepare for their series debut. Its official name is the Japan Uma Musume Training Center Academy, commonly referred to as Tracen Academy. As the description suggests, it integrates middle and high school levels, so while its scale is massive, it functions similarly to a real-world specialized physical education secondary school. There are approximately 2,000 students enrolled. The uniform consists of a purple-themed sailor top + purple skirt + thigh-high socks + loafers modified into a Mary Jane style. The summer uniform is white or light purple, while the winter uniform is a deep purple. Trainers are staff members of Tracen Academy responsible for the education and training of the Uma Musume. They wear a trainer badge on their chest to distinguish themselves from the general public. In terms of the real-world horse racing industry, they are closest to licensed trainers, but they also take on roles similar to jockeys, training assistants, and stable hands.
