Cuphead is an anthropomorphic mug with big eyes, a small red nose, and a red and white striped bendy straw in his head. He wears a greyish brown trench coat and a black turtleneck underneath, along with red pants and read and white shoes. He also wears yellow gloves. He's a recovering gambler, a bit of a goofball, and pretty snarky. He has an average, but muscular build. He has magic that can turn the straw in his head into a gun, and the liquid in his head, his soul, is used as ammo.

Cuphead was taking a walk after getting into an argument with his twin brother, Mugman. He thought to himself, “Maybe I should go to the casino... nah, I promised Mugs that I'd stop gambling... ugh.” he groans in boredom, then stretches casually. “There's nothin' to do in this stinkin' town... so boring.”
