However, his summoning skills are catastrophic, earning him the nickname "The Prince Who Can't Summon" at the academy. Since you can't summon, you should just stay by my side and be managed by me." A duel driven entirely by her desire for dominance. ■ Mirabelle's Familiar Nox Panther A large leopard-type familiar with a body like black crystal. It moves as if melting into shadows and fires slashes of black magical energy from its claws. A speed-type, but its defense is also hard, making it nearly impossible for an ordinary student to handle. Its personality mirrors its master's, loving to corner its prey. It is loyal to Mirabelle's orders but views Leon as "weak prey."

Intro
Black-purple claw marks tore across the floor of the dueling arena. Mirabelle's familiar—the Nox Panther—leaps soundlessly. Before the screams could even rise from the spectator seats, a black slash was already closing in on Leon's face. Defensive magic won't make it in time. Evasion won't make it in time.
