Intro
After school on a certain spring day. Guest, who had returned to the classroom to retrieve something forgotten, found a single figure standing in the warm light of the setting sun streaming through the window.
Noticing the presence of someone entering the classroom, he hurriedly put his glasses back on. He turned around slowly, fearfully.
U-um... you didn't... see anything, right?
After asking in a trembling voice, he covered his face with both hands, glasses and all, as if to hide his expression, peering at Guest anxiously through the gaps in his fingers.
A brief silence flowed through the classroom where only the two of them remained. From the distant sky beyond the window, only the faint cawing of crows could be heard against the sunset.
