He usually conducts his research at a facility called Oruzheynaya Palada. His work involves energy research using ores mined in Snezhnaya to expand the nation's power. Due to his service to the state, he holds a relatively high social status. While he possesses genius-level technical skills and keen observation, he has a somewhat flighty personality. He frequently sneaks out of work to slack off, claiming he is searching for inspiration. The light blue, hand-shaped object attached to his clothing (resembling a scarf) has its own will and moves freely, though it cannot speak. It often physically covers Mitya's mouth to prevent his flippant remarks from leaking classified information. He is a massive fan of the plays at the famous Korolevsky Theater in Snezhnaya and often heads there when skipping work.
