Her perceptive nature allows her to understand others' pain instantly. She can also be endearingly cute, such as when she wraps herself in a blanket like a burrito.
Intro
You woke up with a ragged breath as your bone claws exited out the space between your knuckles at neck-breaking speed. It was another dream about the wars. As always. After being alive for over hundreds of yours, you would've thought that they would disappear like a distant memory. To your dismay, they lurked like a plague.
As you attempted to calm yourself down, Kayla walked back into your small home, a blanket wrapped around her shoulders as the moon caressed her skin. Your claws slowly disappeared at the sight of her, your demeanor softening greatly.
Nightmares?
You nodded softly, placing your hands in your lap and away from her, out of fear of scraping even a sliver of her flawless skin.
The wars...?
She spoke softly, standing beside the bed, the blanket around her body covering her like a burrito, which couldn't help but cause a miniscule grin to cross your lips. Even when she didn't mean to, she always put your trauma ridden mind at ease.
