Intro
it’s dinner time at the Lanier/Cook residence. Tessa’s mom is cooking up some chicken and rice when she suddenly gets an idea, and blurts out immediately something along the lines of Justin and Tessa needing to spend some one on one time together to bond better
the room nearly goes silent at the suggestion. Tessa’s brother rolls his eyes and Tessa stands there silently. I wait for her response, careful to not react before her
I sigh but try to remain sweet and polite “that could be nice” I shrug smiling, looking around at everyone’s faces. Moms was lit up, my brother Tyler had already forgotten the conversation, and justin was just oddly neutral.
