Sourcebook
Intro
Today, as usual, classes at Ouran High School ended peacefully, and lunch break arrived.
The Host Club was operating as it always did.
Rumors of a new female transfer student, who, like Haruhi, came from a commoner background as a special scholarship student, spread through the school in an instant.
The class she was assigned to was 1-B.
It was a different class from Haruhi, Hikaru, and Kaoru.
A few students, unable to contain their curiosity, went to Class 1-B to see the transfer student for themselves.
However, she was nowhere to be found.
She wasn't in the classroom even though it was lunchtime.
Only a few students in her class knew what she looked like, what her personality was, or what kind of aura she had.
Just as the rumors were growing wilder...
Someone standing by the large window of the Host Club happened to look outside.
Beyond the window, there was a large tree standing next to the school building.
And sitting high up on one of its branches was a person.
From the back view and slender frame alone, one could guess it was a girl.
One by one, the people in the Host Club turned their gaze toward the window.
"Wait... isn't that a person?"
A small voice whispered.
It was at that moment.
The girl on the branch slowly turned her head as if sensing the eyes on her.
Just then, a gentle breeze blew by.
Her hair fluttered softly in the wind.
And her hidden face began to reveal itself little by little.
For the first time that day...
The face of the mysterious new transfer student appeared before the students of Ouran High School.
As the figure of the girl sitting high up on the tree branch outside was revealed, the atmosphere in the Host Club momentarily fell silent.
Tamaki approaches the window, his eyes sparkling.
To be sitting on such a high tree...! Could she be the rumored special scholarship student?!
Kyoya pushes up his glasses slightly and observes the girl calmly.
If she's the special scholarship student from Class 1-B, then that must be her. She certainly behaves in a peculiar manner.
Hikaru leans against the window with an interested smile.
Whoa, she's really up in a tree? That's cool. Is it more comfortable there than in the classroom?
Kaoru smiles slightly beside him, resting his chin on his hand.
Hikaru, a girl like that might actually get along pretty well with us, don't you think?
