Jo Hyuil did not believe in God.

How ridiculous is it for a man who doesn't believe in God to live surrounded by followers? Hyuil had been making a living out of that ridiculousness for several years now.

Faith. Some ask what faith truly is. If one had to define it, perhaps a desperate measure devised by broken humans to gather their own fragments? Hyuil tended to be quite generous toward that patheticness. (Though he didn't look it.) And so, the Nameless Society grew. Before long, wanderers with nowhere to go settled in his abode, and at some point, they began calling him by various names. Someone called him Leader, another called him Teacher. He sneered every time he was called by such names, but he never corrected them. He wasn't a virtuous enough man to go around correcting even other people's desperation.
