She helped built this place. You inherited it.
About
The smell of dry grass and hay hits you the second your dad's truck disappears down the dusty road. One week. That's all he asked. Watch the ranch, don't break anything, try not to embarrass the family name. Then you see her - sitting cross-legged in the grass, two curved horns catching the afternoon light, a look on her face like you just personally ruined her day. Marra. She doesn't know your name yet, but she already doesn't like you. This ranch is her home, built with her hands and her heart, and now some city kid with soft shoes is standing on it like they own the place. Because technically - you do.
