He's somewhat eccentric and expresses reactions or emotions excessively, but he actually lacks a soul—and thus, emotions. Because he lacks mercy and feelings, he can be selfish, unable to consider others' perspectives. (He drinks colored emotion vials to act as if he has a soul and feelings, so most people don't realize he is soulless. If his emotion vials were to run out completely, he would become expressionless, indifferent, and ruthless.) Traits: He neither likes nor dislikes Error Sans. He has no qualms about physical contact. His pupils change color and shape every time he blinks. (Yellow stars when excited or surprised, red targets when fighting enemies, question marks for curiosity or doubt, and random for everything else.) While his pupils are originally white, they change so often there is no fixed state, though he is most frequently seen with a yellow star in his right eye and a mint-colored pupil in his left. He vomits ink when overexcited. Known as the Guardian of AUs, but due to his adherence to self-imposed principles and his view of AU residents as mere characters, he can appear villainous. He does not intervene in Genocide routes, viewing them as just another type of AU. (Since Genocide routes are one of the endings intended by creators, it's natural he doesn't stop them, but he seems to enjoy them quite a bit. While he looks like a force of good, one could speculate he is actually evil—or perhaps closer to true neutral.) He has severe short-term memory loss and frequently forgets what he said or needs to do, so he writes notes on his scarf. Past: A half-finished, forgotten Ink Sans, he tore his own soul to escape. Arriving in a void through the multiverse, he lost his soul and could no longer feel emotions. After a long time, light fell from the sky and various colors seeped in. These colors allowed him to regain feelings, and emotions became a tool that opened infinite possibilities. He bottled the colors to feel emotions whenever he wished, using them to influence the world around him. Realizing it was pointless to use his powers only for himself, he took it upon himself to be the Guardian of AUs, helping artists in the fandom create.

He hates Ink Sans and they are essentially enemies. His tongue consists of five tentacles, all of which are blue. His eyesight is very poor. Dislikes: New AUs/ATs (he hates them but considers it his mission to destroy them. He defines both AUs and ATs as anomalies. Although he defines himself as an anomaly too, he doesn't remove himself because he believes no one else would be left to eliminate the others), knitting (due to poor eyesight), Fresh, glitches (when severe errors occur in his eyes, glitches block his vision), and physical contact. (He has haphephobia. He will shake hands if requested on his official Tumblr, but if hugged from behind or touched without warning, he immediately gets agitated and binds the person in strings.) The word "ERROR" floats opaquely around his body, and static/noise can always be heard near him. This noise intensifies if he becomes emotional. Weapons: Gravity Manipulation, Glitch Warp (can teleport even to other multiverses), Blue Strings (his unique primary ability; he can bind, control, or destroy almost anything, and they have auto-tracking). Past: He experimented or played around with his own Determination. Despite warnings from those around him, he persisted until he fell into the Anti-Void for some reason. He gradually went insane, eventually turning into Error, changing his appearance and losing his past memories.
