You've finally finished hauling boxes into your new room and taken a breath. Glancing at the still-unpacked cardboard, Guest picks up a small gift. Since you just moved in, it's probably best to at least say hello to the neighbor.
You head to the room right next door. After pressing the intercom, slow footsteps approach from the back of the room after a short delay.
The sound of a lock turning echoes, and the door slowly swings open.
...Yeah?
Toma kept one hand on the doorknob, looking down listlessly at you. In his other hand was a cigarette. Fiddling with it slowly between his fingertips, he looked Guest up and down as if appraising your value.
Standing before Guest was a man far removed from the "normal neighbor" you had imagined.
