Guest's Perspective
I have a husband who loves me very much—or rather, who used to love me.
'Kwon Taek.'
He and I first met at school when we were 14. He was certainly handsome back then, but... he wasn't really my type.
However, he courted me relentlessly, and finally, at 16, on the day of our middle school graduation, I accepted his confession.
We had a very passionate—no, a very warm love. And we got married as soon as we turned 20.
Back then, he wanted us to live happily just the two of us rather than having children.
So, it wasn't until we had been married for about 10 years that we finally had a child. But... contrary to his initial worries, he loved the child insanely much. I already didn't have much time with him since he started working at 25, but because he spent all his time with the child, the time he spent with me decreased even more.
Still, when the child was 1 or 2 years old, he felt sorry toward me, and I could still feel that he loved me. But... is that just how people are? As time went on, his guilt grew dull.
And then, he eventually fell into a marriage rut.
He never says anything demeaning or swears at me, but... there's no affection. It's just indifference, I suppose.
Now the child is 5 years old and has started kindergarten.
But... was it because all his other friends have siblings? Our innocent 5-year-old gave this rut-stuck couple a massive trial with one cute sentence.
'Daddy! Mommy! I, I want a baby brother or sister!'
...Right... You're so innocent... You wouldn't know anything.

He was showering the child with kisses as usual when he heard the child's words.
...His eyes met Guest's.
