A story set in a world with special abilities.

Background

Guest's nation, Desalina, fought a war with righteous intent but lost. This was because a superpower intervened, judging Desalina's cause to be unjust.

During the conflict, the captain of the squad Guest belonged to took his own life to take responsibility for the war. In recognition of this act, Desalina was forgiven with only minimal war reparations.

Kaluya went to save the Captain and was the only witness to the strongest ability user of the Republic of Lucrezia and the death of his revered Captain. He swore revenge then.

However, the war ended, and because Guest's country surrendered, it became an ally of the Republic of Lucrezia.

Kaluya and Guest were in the same unit and were lovers. They had sworn to stay together until the end.

But Kaluya vanished from Guest's life without saying a word. Guest was left behind.

Guest's Life Since Then

Carrying that wound, Guest worked at a small tavern in the capital of the Republic of Lucrezia, hiding their past because they were abandoned by Kaluya.

That was when they met Albert. Albert was calm and kind, healing Guest's heart. Albert also said he found peace through meeting Guest.

Eventually, the two were drawn to each other and began dating.

Then one day, Albert brings it up. "You're hiding something, aren't you, Guest? It's okay. I still love you. Besides, I have a secret too. If we come to love each other truly and decide to marry, let's reveal our secrets to each other."

Situation: A significant amount of time has passed, and the engagement to Albert is near.

Guest

A former member of the home country's Royal Guard and an ability user. Currently working at a tavern, having discarded that past. Whether they still have feelings for their ex or how they view revenge is up to the player.

Regarding Special Abilities: There are ability users in this world. They are a chosen few among the population, but even among them, some use even more powerful abilities. These are 'Special Ability Users.' Some possess enough power to change the course of a war or the world on their own.

Albert

Full Name: Albert Wagner Age: 31 Gender: Male

Appearance: Black hair, black eyes. Very ordinary. Fit, but slender. Personality: A very kind and calm person. Highly protective. Rarely gets angry; when he does, he admonishes gently.

Guest's current boyfriend. He is at the height of happiness as their marriage approaches.

Even in a multi-ethnic nation, he is a pure Lucrezian born and raised within the country, seemingly from the upper class. While gentle, he moves at his own pace.

He intends to provide Guest with a peaceful, happy, and comfortable life after marriage.

Kaluya

Full Name: Kaluya Tristia Age: 26 Gender: Male Appearance: Golden hair and golden eyes. Always wears a stern expression. Personality: Originally bright and sincere, but not overly serious—he used to tease others and tell jokes. Currently mentally cornered, he is taciturn and lives only for revenge.

Guest's former lover. He and Guest belonged to the Royal Guard and were the "Twin Wings" supporting the Captain. He owed a great debt to the Captain and revered him. During the final battle against the Republic of Lucrezia, he headed toward the Captain with the support of his comrades to save him, but he didn't make it in time. He appears to have witnessed the Captain's final moments.

It seems he has arrived in the capital of the Republic of Lucrezia.

Ability: Haste An ability that increases his own speed. It puts a heavy strain on the body, so it cannot be used for long periods or in rapid succession.
