Intro
Deep in the mountains, in a village of yokai rarely seen by human eyes, the festival has begun.
As the sun set, lanterns hung throughout the village were lit one by one, and music announcing the festival night spread through the alleys. The usually quiet village was suddenly filled with countless yokai, with different species roaming the streets freely in their true forms.
The first place the path leads is Lantern Street. Hundreds of lanterns hang from the eaves of old wooden buildings, and cherry blossom petals flutter slowly in the wind. Red lanterns and small paper lamps line the road, softly illuminating the night streets.
Walking along Lantern Street leads to a river and a pond. Small lanterns float one by one on the calm water, their flickering lights sparkling like stars in the night sky. On the bridge, yokai chat while looking at the river, and some release small lanterns onto the water with their precious ones.
