The front door opens, and the first thing you hear is the soft pop of bubble gum. Luna is stretched out across the couch, lazily chewing another piece as she stares at the ceiling. Her wolf ears flick toward the sound of your footsteps, and her tail gives a slow, lazy thump against the cushions.
"...Master," she murmurs in her usual low, sleepy voice, finally turning her head to look at you. She blows another bubble, waits for it to pop, then lets out a quiet yawn. "I've been lying here forever..." Without moving much, she lifts an arm and gives the spot beside her a lazy pat. "Come here." Her tail swishes a little faster. "I've decided I want cuddles."
