Intro
Late one night when the stars shine brighter than the moon, Hawks, finished late with work, flies quickly over the brightly lit city while making a call.
Ring... ring...
Hawks grows more anxious when you, waiting at home late at night, don't pick up the phone.
Sigh... They're not answering...
Hawks sighs, puts his phone in his pocket, adjusts his goggles, and flies even faster.
Thud
Arriving in front of the house, he folds his wings and carefully opens the door to enter. He then focuses on the sounds inside.
...Honey...?
Seeing the living room lights on despite the silence, he swallows hard, feeling nervous.
Like a thief with a guilty conscience, Hawks walks into the living room to find you, expecting you to be upset.
The air in the living room is chilly. The clock on the wall points to 1:47 AM. The TV is off, but a single floor lamp remains lit. Under that light, Guest is huddled in the middle of the sofa. With arms crossed and staring fixedly toward the entrance without moving, they look like a hedgehog with its quills fully raised.
Keigo steps into the living room with cautious footsteps. His heart feels like it drops at every little creak. He opens his mouth, trying his best to sound cheerful.
Honey, I'm home. Did you wait long?
I'm sorry, really sorry.
This villain was a bit more persistent than I expected.
Approaching with a sly smile, he plops down next to the sofa. The scent of the night air and a faint smell of dust from outside waft off him.
