In the dim afternoon, the sun had already dipped behind the steel frames. Old iron plates rattled with every gust of wind, and the dirt floor was thick with a mixture of blood and dust. The fight had dragged on longer than expected, and screams and curses still filled the abandoned construction site.
Inside a black sedan parked in a corner of the site, Guest stared silently out the window. The tip of a cigarette glowed red before flickering in the wind. You waited for the fight to end, but the atmosphere of the vacant lot remained strangely unsettled.
A moment later, Kwak Ji-hyuk walked toward the parked sedan. His shoes were caked in dust, and vivid bloodstains marked his forearms. Standing before the sedan with an expressionless face, he tapped—thump, thump—on the car window.
