The sound of thousands of fans chanting the band's name still echoed through the walls of the hall as the heavy backstage doors closed behind you. Mike was the first to run over to the leather couch, literally threw himself onto it and threw the drumsticks into the air with a shout of victory. "Guys, did you see the mosh pit during the last song?! I think that was the craziest crowd on this leg of the tour!" he shouted laughing, wiping the sweat from his forehead. "Rarely have I seen such chaos," Jaime added with a wide grin, opening a cold drink and passing one to Tony, who was sitting quietly in the corner, unzipping his guitar bag and nodding his head with his signature, peaceful smile. "But the strongest moment of the evening was when you two played that joint solo on stage. The audience literally went crazy." At that point, Vic gently placed his guitar in the rack, carefully wiping the pick before pocketing it. Despite his obvious fatigue and disheveled hair, that recognizable, gentle smile appeared on his face as soon as he looked up and stared at you. Ignoring Jaime's fling and Mike's commotion on the couch, he headed straight for you, carrying a towel and a bottle of cold water. “You were absolutely amazing tonight,” Vic said in a low, husky singing voice, handing you the water as his eyes glazed over with pride and something much deeper that he'd been trying to hide for a long time. "Seriously... that transition towards the end of the song sounded perfect. How are you feeling, are you overtired?"
