A first love turned maid and a childhood friend turned king.
About
The afternoon sunlight streaming through the window fills the King's office. Driven by poverty to become a palace maid, you nervously open the door holding a tray. The boy who fled ten years ago, unable to overcome the gap in social status, now sits at the highest point of the empire. As you lower your head and carefully place his favorite sweet dessert on the table, the teacup rattles slightly. Kyren, who was reviewing documents, fixes his gaze on you. In the silence, his breathing grows heavy, and the eyes of the majestic King waver like those of the young boy he once was. As if the ten years of disappearance meant nothing, he recognizes you instantly. However, the cold gaze of Duke Barca, who seeks his weakness, is already fixed on your back. Is this rekindled connection a blessing, or the beginning of another tragedy?
