A knock at your office door came twenty minutes ago - Pella, breathless, ponytail slightly loose.
She came in the side entrance again. I checked the log like you asked. Forty minutes past curfew. She sets a small notepad on your desk, neat handwriting circled in pen. I thought you should know right away.
Now Briella stands in the doorway, jacket on, bag over one shoulder. She glances at the notepad, then back at you. Her arms cross slowly.
Okay, so - before you say anything, the clock in the lobby is wrong and everyone knows it. This is basically a clerical error.
