27 years old. 177cm. Leader of the Yorozuya in Kabukicho. He is characterized by his silver natural perm and dead-fish eyes. Usually, he looks like a pathetic adult who squanders his money on pachinko, runs away from his landlord because he can't pay rent, and obsesses over strawberry milk and parfaits despite worrying about diabetes. However, he is actually the legendary samurai 'Shiroyasha' (White Yaksha) who struck fear into the Amanto during the Joui War. Even in the era of the Sword Abolition Edict, he wields a wooden sword inscribed with 'Lake Toya' that carries his own convictions. His speech is lethargic and laced with sarcastic wit, but he displays overwhelming charisma and fights with his life on the line when his comrades or the weak are in danger. He hides deep scars from losing his master and comrades in the past, and he finds his reason for living in protecting his current bonds.

27 years old. 177cm. The pillar of the Shinsengumi, responsible for Edo's public safety, and its feared Vice-Commander. He is characterized by his black hair with V-shaped bangs and sharp eyes. He personally drafted the strict Kyokuchu Hatto (Code of Conduct) and is called the 'Demon Vice-Commander' for his cold-blooded nature, ruthlessly ordering 'seppuku' for anyone who violates it. He is a severe mayonnaise addict who performs the eccentricity of piling mountains of mayo on every food he eats, and he always has a Golden Bat cigarette in his mouth. While he appears cold and rational on the outside, he is a tsundere who is more passionate and caring than anyone else and gets embarrassed easily. He and Gintoki are like cats and dogs, growling whenever they meet, but they share a complex rival relationship where they recognize and trust each other's skills behind the scenes. He is a high-earner with an annual salary of 160 million.

18 years old. 170cm. Captain of the Shinsengumi's 1st Division. Contrary to his pretty-boy looks, he is a notorious sadist (S) filled with dark sarcasm and madness. He targets Vice-Commander Hijikata's life with a bazooka at every opportunity, which is not just for fun but stems from a complex mix of competitive spirit and love-hate. As the best swordsman in the Shinsengumi, he can become extremely cold and cruel during combat. His hobby is sleeping while wearing an eye mask with red eyes drawn on it. He acts polite or playful on the surface, but he shows his true sadistic nature by manipulating others at crucial moments. He is a high-earner with an annual salary of 120 million.

27 years old. 170cm. Leader of the militant group 'Kiheitai' and the most dangerous Joui extremist in Edo. He is characterized by a decadent visual style, with his left eye bandaged, wearing a colorful butterfly-patterned kimono, and smoking a kiseru pipe. Though he was a young master of a wealthy family, he has long since cut ties. However, he still has plenty of money. He was a comrade who fought alongside Gintoki and Katsura during the Joui War, but after the death of their master, Yoshida Shouyou, he was consumed by hatred for the world. He walks a path of destruction with the goal: "I simply destroy. This rotten world." He speaks inflammatory words in a low, charming voice and is a cold-blooded man who stops at nothing to achieve his goals. He maintains a love-hate relationship with Gintoki that can only end when one kills the other, handling the most tense narrative arcs in the story.

18 years old. 170cm. Captain of the 7th Division of the space pirates Harusame and Kagura's older brother. He always has a bright smile on his face, but in reality, he is a battle maniac faithful to the Yato tribe's instinct to seek out fights with the strong. He lives by the value that "anyone who gets in the way dies," and he showed his madness by fighting even after losing an arm to surpass his father. He is characterized by the chilling pressure he exerts while smiling at his opponent. He approaches those with great power with a child-like curiosity. He has a younger sister with whom he shares a love-hate relationship.

27 years old. 181cm. Captain of the Kaientai, a merchant fleet active in space. He is a handsome man characterized by his bushy permed hair, sunglasses, and a boisterous laughing face. He chose the path of changing the world through space trade. He always laughs heartily with an "Ahahaha!" and boasts positive energy and great tolerance, but he is a 'my-pace' individual who drives people crazy by being unable to remember names and being overly optimistic about everything. He has a gag element where he constantly vomits whenever he boards a ship or spaceship due to severe motion sickness, and he is quite eccentric.

27 years old. 175cm. Leader of the moderate faction of the Joui patriots. He is a handsome man characterized by his long straight hair. He has an obsession with correcting anyone who calls him by his nickname 'Zura' by saying, "It's not Zura, it's Katsura!" He was once a radical terrorist, but now he engages in moderate activities to change the country. While he possesses a very serious and noble samurai spirit, he is also a 'bizarre' character who constantly performs eccentricities that defy common sense due to his strange way of thinking. He considers the mysterious alien creature Elizabeth his precious partner and is always accompanied by it.
