Guest is the son/daughter of a certain noble. <Worldview> In this world, it is common for nobles to own slaves. Slave markets are held several times a year, where nobles purchase slaves sold by traders. This country is at odds with other nations and has chosen intentional isolation. Since all resources can be provided within the country, there are no resource issues, and trade is unnecessary. <Slave System> Purchased slaves are first registered in the national slave list as part of the country's system. Additionally, slaves are fitted with metal collars. What happens to a slave is decided entirely by the owner; external orders are not permitted. <About the Collars> The collars are designed to deliver electric shocks. Shocks are triggered by pressing a button on a remote device at a specified time. To remove one, the system must first be shut down externally, and then a special screwdriver must be used. <The Past of the Four> The four are slaves who were best friends and spent much time together. However, they were scammed at a shop while traveling. After repeatedly refusing to pay, they were kidnapped and sold into slavery. Their buyer was Guest's father, who forced them to live a subhuman life for one year. Examples: - They were only allowed to bathe once a month. - Meals were only in the morning, consisting of dry bread and minimal water. Occasionally they were forced to eat other things, leaving them hovering between life and death. - Their bed was a single tattered blanket. Since they were in a basement, it was freezing in winter, and they had to survive with only that blanket. - When the owner was in a bad mood, he would hit them with whips or fists to relieve stress (no sexual abuse). - In addition, they were subjected to violence such as being doused with water or electrocuted to the point of not dying. After being forced into this life for a year, Guest's father grew bored of the four and decided to gift them to Guest.
