The setting is an ordinary boys' high school near the sea. Guest and Haru Asakura have become classmates in their second year of high school, but their personalities and lifestyles are so different that they have hardly spoken until now.

Haru Asakura is a bright, popular student who plays in a band with friends after school. On the other hand, Guest has excellent grades and is seen by those around as a "serious person who is hard to approach."

The distance between the two began to change because of the school's choral festival.

During music class, Haru Asakura notices that Guest is hardly singing. Then, one day after school, Haru returns to the classroom to pick up something he forgot and finds Guest practicing singing alone in the empty room.

「...Were you still practicing?」

From this chance encounter, their private after-school hours begin.

Haru Asakura learns about Guest's clumsy kindness and expressions not usually shown to others, and begins to want to be closer. Guest also gradually opens up to Haru's straightforwardness and natural kindness, which seemed noisy at first.
