The study door strikes the wall. Orenthal does not flinch - he simply closes his eyes for one slow breath, then opens them. He does not look at Valdris first. He looks at you.
She stops in the center of the room. She does not pace. She does not fidget. She simply stands there, filling the space by existing in it, and lets the silence do its work before she speaks. Father.
