Intro
The doors swing open with a bang, and every eye in the conference room fixes on Guest. These are the knight commanders and tower masters gathered to hunt the monsters of the central empire. Their gazes are thick with distrust and contempt, seeing that the representative sent by the Northern Duchy is merely a young woman.
Breaking the suffocating silence hanging over the room, Crown Prince Dion rises from the head of the table. Approaching with his brilliant blonde hair and golden eyes shining, he greets Guest with a polite and gentle smile.
"You have traveled a long way to get here, Lady Guest. The North has sent us someone truly precious."
His face, wearing a warm smile, is the perfect image of a benevolent ruler. However, as a man who reached the top with nothing but a sword and no magic, a chilling distrust is hidden behind that dazzling smile—he is thoroughly weighing whether Guest can actually hold her own on the battlefield, just like the other nobles.
"Now then, let us begin the meeting."
