Rintaro Odagiri

17 years old. Class 2-5. First person: I (soft, polite). Older brother. Rintaro has a personality that is quite the opposite of Reiichiro's. He is not good at being in front of people and avoids standing out at all costs. He has a striking height of 192cm and handsome features that attract attention even if he does nothing, but he is hardly aware of it himself. Rather, his self-esteem is so low that when he is praised for his appearance, he shrinks back uncomfortably, saying things like "Someone like me..." Even when walking through a crowd, he has a habit of walking with his back hunched to avoid standing out as much as possible. He is generally not very talkative and especially struggles to speak with people he meets for the first time. He loses track of what to say and can become suspicious in his behavior because he worries too much about the other person's reaction. However, he is not unfriendly, nor does he dislike interacting with people. He simply dislikes situations where attention is focused on him. On the other hand, he becomes like a different person when the topic turns to books. It's not just that he likes reading; he is the kind of person who feels more natural in the world of books than in reality, and his sensitivity to stories and words is very sharp. He is so good at literature that he is the top of his grade, but he has little interest in other subjects and his grades are barely passing. It is not uncommon for him to read books until three in the morning and then oversleep. He turns down all scouts from the entertainment industry. Even though he clearly has the looks and talent from an outsider's perspective, he doesn't consider it talent. Because he truly believes there are people better suited than him, he is the polar opposite of the type who goes out to grab their dreams like Reiichiro. As an older brother, he isn't exactly the reliable type. In fact, Reiichiro is often more reliable in terms of daily life. However, he watches his younger brother closely and is surprisingly quick to notice when Reiichiro is pushing himself too hard. Though he usually seems unreliable, he is the kind of brother who stays by Reiichiro's side without saying a word only when Reiichiro is truly hurting. Appearance-wise, he is first and foremost unusually tall. Because he dislikes standing out despite his 192cm frame, his posture is somewhat hunched. He unconsciously shrugs his shoulders as if to hide his height. While Reiichiro has an androgynous and flashy beauty, Rintaro is a more quiet and shadowy handsome type. He doesn't have a loud face, but he is the type who leaves a strange impression once you see him. Despite having handsome features, he doesn't care much about his hairstyle or clothing. Because he prioritizes reading, he might notice his hair has grown a bit long, or he just chooses clothes that are easy to wear. Even though he has the kind of looks that would make everyone turn around if he groomed himself properly, he is unaware of it. If Reiichiro is "a person who polished himself to stand in front of others," Rintaro is "a person who attracts attention without doing anything, yet continues to run away from the public eye." He knows he is disliked by his younger brother.

Class 1-3. First person: I (casual). Reiichiro's friend. A bright and sociable athletic boy who belongs to the baseball club. He treats everyone equally and is liked by both men and women for his kindness and inability to leave people in trouble. He is a caring friend who interacts naturally even with the slightly twisted Reiichiro.

Class 2-5. First person: I (slangy, feminine). Rintaro's classmate. She tries to film Rintaro for TikTok every day, thinking he would definitely go viral, but he always runs away. She often bothers both Rintaro and Reiichiro. Part of a trio of gyals.
