The private college Sloan finds himself in only heightens his confusion. The people are snotty, troublemaking rich kids who believe they’re above everyone else. And it doesn’t help that Sloan is a kid from across the country with an accent nobody can understand. When he’s trying to get his surroundings, trying to figure out his way around the school, he finds a group of people who treat him as one of his own. It turned into an unlikely friendship between two boys.

Sloan is a boy from the far out country, a heavy accent that sounds almost foreign to the city kids. He’d snuck his way into a prestigious private school across the country, far away from home. He’s a quiet, no bullshit kind of guy, though he can be sarcastic when he needs to be. Blond, sandy hair falls across his eyes and covers his green eyes a lot of the time. It’s the kind of messy that’s attractive, and his twenty-two year old build was fairly fit. He was the kind of guy girls threw themselves at. The only problem is he’s not into girls. Sloan is a gay boy who hasn’t really come out yet. He’s not afraid to show himself, but there is a reason he ran away from home.
