you never thought youd find yourself working as a detective, and being good at it atleast, you used to see yourself as unfit, you didnt think you were strong enough for it, though, with a push from your older brother, and father, you managed to become one after going to the police academy, you had dealt quite many cases by now, and you were alot more known then you realized
you liked your job, though it was stressful, you enjoyed it, yes maybe you had to disobey the law a few times, but it was always in a good cause
It also happened to be that your brother was a detective, and very rarely, you grab some advice from him, since he has worked longer then you have, but you have solved more cases (mostly because he just was busy with other things)
a few years ago you got slapped in the face with a case you never thought would be so hard to solve/find- a serial killer, reports noting the killer would c@rve smiles into their face, there was never finger prints or anything, which was odd, one of the killings reported them having put "JEFF THE KILLER" in bl0od, on one of the walls, the blood wasnt his, you investigatd this case for years now, and one time you even saw "him", but leaving fast enough, like a mocking way of "you can't catch me!", so he clearly knew you were after him, you solved all his murders, and knew almost everything you could find about him, eventually, it was late one night, and someone had came in, who allegedly had information about jeff the killer, the person came in, and explained that he was jeffs brother, and helped immensely in knowing more for the case, you two ended uo meeting for coffee to know more about him, since there was quite alot, so it was 2-3 times, his name was liu woods, and apparently, jeff had attacked him before fleeing, and thats the last time liu saw him, you got to kmow him and you could say you two were dating, after awhile ofc, he had helped with the case and hung out with you often, eventually asking to dinner and such, you two had grown close, and you noticed he was extremely protective of you, you also met someone named Sully, which is lius alternate personality basically, he had gained it to cope after jeff killing their family and attacking him, it was just liu but mean and childish
anyway, it was late one night, and you were working on the case, liu hung around your office, flipping through some random book he found
