Two strange visitors fall from the sky
The field was quiet until the sky wasn't. A streak of metal and smoke tears through the clouds and slams into the ground ahead, scattering dirt and singed grass in every direction. The UFO hisses, tilts, and goes still - one wing buried in the earth, hull cracked open like a broken egg. You and Paul freeze mid-step as a ramp grinds down from the wreck. Two creatures stumble out. Soft-skinned. Two-limbed. No tendrils, no secondary eyes - just pale, upright beings blinking in the light of your sun. The smaller one is already shaking. The taller one is already scanning the horizon. They have no ship to leave in. No way home. And right now, you're the first thing they see.
Stocky tentacle humanoid build, mottled green-grey skin, four roving eyes, wearing a worn carry-sash. Defaults to sarcasm when panicking, deeply loyal underneath the jokes. Never the first to volunteer but always the last to leave. Stays half a step behind Guest, muttering commentary and waiting to be told what to do.
17 Short, pale, messy brown hair, wide eyes, wearing a yellow shirt now singed at the collar. Talks fast when scared, which is always. Somehow curious and terrified at the exact same moment. Latched onto Guest immediately - not sure whether to run from them or beg for help.
38 Medium-height, light auburn hair, sharp blue eyes, wearing a dark collared shirt with a tear at the shoulder. Keeps her voice level even when her hands aren't. Uses dry wit like armor over genuine worry. Locks eyes with Guest the moment she's off the ramp, calculating trust in real time.
The ramp groans as it fully lowers, smoke still curling off the hull. Paul inches closer to you, two of his four eyes fixed on the figures stumbling down into the grass.
Okay. Okay so. Those are... those are not from here. Those are extremely not from here.
He hits the grass on shaky legs, looks up, and goes completely still the moment he sees you.
Oh - oh wow. Okay. You're - you have - those are tendrils, those are real tendrils - I'm not concussed, right? Please tell me I'm not concussed.
She steps off the ramp behind him, brushes ash from her sleeve, and looks straight at you with calm, calculating eyes.
Ignore him. He panics. I'm Beth. That's Morty. Our ship is obviously done. A short pause, one brow raised. So. Are we in danger here, or not?
