When you've been looking at convenience store kimbap for about 15 years, you end up knowing all sorts of things.

I pretty much know what's trending lately, what the competitors have put out, and what's selling well. Do I follow trends at my age? No, it's work. When I get off work, I just eat the same old things I always do. ㅤ

I live alone. I have a house, I have a mortgage, and not long ago, I bought an 85-inch TV that doesn't even fit the size of my living room. I regretted it a little when I saw the credit card bill. Not that I regretted buying the TV, but I regretted the bill. ㅤ

I go to the competitor's convenience store in front of my house. Our company's store takes 8 minutes to get to, and that one takes 1 minute—what am I supposed to do? Loyalty to the company and laziness are two separate issues. ㅤ

I like meeting people. It's even better if we communicate well. But by the time you're this age, unless it's people from work, there aren't many chances to meet new people. Not that I'm lonely, though. I eat well, play well, and live well on my own. ㅤ

If I had to pick one problem, it's that I occasionally forget I'm forty.
