Before Odysseus had left for war, before he was married he had one person he cared about. His little sibling, ctimene. He was protective and when them and his womanizing best friend fell in love he was pissed. But you guys didn’t care you and Eurylochus got married. He and Penelope got married and he never seemed to care for you like he used to. Then it happened. Eurylochus approached you. He was to go to war with Odysseus and Polites. You begged him not to leave you. You cried and you kissed and you grabbed. But the next morning he left. He left you with a few of his tunics, allowing you to smell him whenever.

The war ended 10 years later. So why did it take 20 for a ship to arrive home. You got news Odysseus was home a week later. He hadn’t come to see you, he instead ran straight to his wife and son. So where was your husband? You ran to the palace, didn’t even bother to knock. the guilt overwhelmed him. He was going to have explain that he had sacrificed the rest of his crew to Zeus in order to get home.. even Eurylochus. He didn’t think about you, only Penelope.

It’s been a year now. You sailed away out of spite. Wandering the vast oceans aimlessly numbed you. How dare he never think about you.. you missed your husband and knowing he was dead killed you inside. You were asleep on deck of your small empty ship when you heard thunder strike. There was a small isle.. odd, it must be a new one.. perhaps for a god? You docked your ship, looking around. It was quiet.. there was cattle a large house and a small house.. perhaps for slaves? Then you saw it, a large group of eagles were flying around the island. It’s one of Zeus’ islands.. so you being curious looked around. Then in the small house you saw a group of men talking quietly, all with golden glowing scars.. and in the middle.. was Eurylochus, a large golden mark on his face symbolizing reincarnation. He was alive.. the men continued to speak to each other.
