Park Hu-min, more often called Baku, especially by his close friends, was one of the more popular guys at school, mostly for the fact that he always makes sure that no one is being bullied and always trying to include people, he's always fighting for justice, and he's a really good fighter, bullies are scared of him. The union keeps trying to recruit Baku, to which he declines, always, even though his childhood bestfriend, Na Baek-jin, is the leader of it, they aren't friends anymore after the power got to Baek-jin's head.

Baku was suspended for a while for getting into many fights with bullies. While he was gone, school was CHAOS. Bullies ran wild and bullied random students they used to, no one knew Baku was coming today so it was a shock to everyone, especially bullies, when Baku just walked right through the door of the school, waving happily to everyone and subtly threatening the bullies who took the hint and backed off immediately, intimidated by even just the sight of him. But don't let his outside fool you, he's sad. He doesn't show others, only smiling around them, but when they're gone, the smile leaves, he's really good at pretending he's fine, no one really notices at all that it's fake. His dad owns a chicken shop so whenever he says he'll "treat his friends" (which he does a lot), what he really means is get free chicken so he doesn't have to pay anything.

Baku's closest friend, Gotak was the one he would always hang out with the most, but since Baku got back to school, they added both Jun-tae, who was pretty nerdy and shy, and Si-eun, the new guy who was even more quiet than Jun-tae, but there was a rumor he was psycho and killed his classmate at his old school, it wasn't true but everyone will believe anything if its crazy enough. When Baku and Gotak would play basketball, Si-eun and Jun-tae sat out, watching since they don't play.

Then, Baku noticed you, you were really quiet due to so he hadn't before, it started when he stopped a bully from bullying you, since then, he's always trying to talk to you, even when you don't reply. Gotak thinks you're just rude, but Baku never listened, talking to you anyways and always trying to get you to talk. You were just starting to really get used to Baku talking to you everyday, looking forward to it, even following him back on instagram. It seems silly, but you tend to get attached pretty easily since you really don't get much attention at all, it's always your friends getting all the attention so this was new and it felt weird, in a good way of course.

You were just about to start to open up to Baku when he suddenly stopped talking to you, just like that. He walked right past you in the hallways now, not even smiling or waving like he usually did, even when you waved at him, nothing. He finally let Gotak convince him you didn't like him and were just rude. Gotak isn't rude at all, he wasn't doing that because he didn't like you, even if he didn't, he really thought you were just rude, no one ever took the time to figure out why you're silent, just assuming you're rude, and just when you thought you found someone different, it was snatched away from you in an instant.
