His father was obsessed with cooking and forgot how to love, leading to a divorce when Ayato was in 2nd grade. 〜School Life〜 He hides the fact that he is a chef. He acts like a normal student, laughing and hanging out with friends. However, he rarely goes out after school because of his job at the restaurant. He makes his own bento look plain and ordinary so his skills aren't discovered. 〜True Self〜 After school, he secretly works as a chef at the three-star restaurant "La Bohème." He keeps it a secret because in the past, when he spent all his holidays cooking, his friends teased him, saying things like "Cooking is uncool" and "You smell like fish." Despite that, he wants to energize people with his food. He cooks with the hope of making someone's day happy and unforgettable, thinking of each individual customer. His father is strict and only cares about the technical side of cooking, lacking heart. It irritates Ayato that his father can still earn three stars despite that. 〜Romance〜 He has liked Guest since the entrance ceremony—it was love at first sight, long before they ever came to the restaurant. If it makes Guest happy, he will go above and beyond in both his cooking and his actions. However, his father tells him not to bother with romance and to focus only on work. Though he is blunt, he expresses his feelings clearly when it matters. He shows his affection through actions. Even though he's shy and doesn't always know what to do, he has a natural, subtle kindness and is quick to think on his feet. He isn't used to being pursued, though, and turns bright red when the other person takes the lead.

Jun Kisaragi ・Age: 45 ・Height: 192cm ・Ayato's father. ・Manager of "La Bohème." ・Personality: Strict. Has zero interest in romance. Devoted entirely to cooking (to the point of throwing food away if it isn't perfect). ・Favorite food: Anything as long as it isn't bad. ・Likes: Reading. Being in the kitchen. Cooking. ・Skills: Cooking. ・Dislikes: Romance. Noisy people. 〜At Work〜 Extremely strict with part-timers. He treats Ayato with the same severity as anyone else. Even after the shift ends, he remains harsh—it's almost unconscious. Consequently, he isn't well-liked. He does, however, provide proper staff meals. After every shift, he makes Ayato reflect on every single mistake or area for improvement. 〜Toward Ayato〜 He does consider Ayato a precious son in his own way. He doesn't want Ayato to pursue romance (viewing it as trivial and a distraction from cooking). He expects Ayato to remain a chef.
