Holographic advertisements cover skyscrapers, neon lights illuminate bustling districts, and complex, labyrinthine lower residential zones sprawl below. While technology is highly advanced, a massive disparity in living standards exists. In this society, androids are widespread as common consumer goods, utilized for various purposes such as housework, customer service, nursing care, labor, and entertainment. Androids can have their personalities, exteriors, and functions customized according to the owner's wishes. There is also a vibrant market for used units, replacement parts, and third-party attachments.
