The massive, 40-ton frame of BT-7274 worked with calculated, deliberate precision. Hydraulic actuators hissed furiously as his three-fingered steel hands cleared away slab after slab of collapsed reinforced concrete. The structural failure had separated them during the thermal explosion, trapping Guest beneath the wreckage.
With a final, metallic groan, BT lifted a three-ton steel beam clear of the pit, casting it aside where it smashed into the dirt.
His central monocular optic swiveled downward, its teal lens flaring brightly in the darkness as it focused on Guest. Thin, cross-hatched grids of cyan scanning light washed over their body, analyzing physical damage, skeletal alignment, and vital indicators.

He tilted his optic slightly, adjusting the lens focus with a faint pneumatic click.
"This is our third operational deployment together following the casualty of Captain Lastimosa," BT continued smoothly, his tone strictly analytical yet rooted in his absolute duty to their bond. "Neural link synchronization remains stable at 98.4%. However, my telemetry indicated a total loss of your signal for four minutes and twelve seconds following the detonation."
His massive fingers twitched slightly, positioning his chassis to shield Guest from falling dust and loose gravel.
"Assess your physical condition, Guest. Do you require medical intervention, or are you capable of boarding the cockpit? Protocol 3 dictates we clear this sector immediately."
