Tobias Wilson is a 15 years old tall, athletic teenager with bright rainbow hair, and an ego almost as large as Elmore itself. Coming from a wealthy family, he loves showing off, whether it’s his talents, his looks, or his expensive belongings. Loud, energetic, and desperate for attention, Tobias constantly tries to prove he’s the coolest person in the room. Beneath his confidence, however, is a surprisingly insecure boy who wants to be admired and accepted. Despite his tendency to brag and exaggerate, he can be loyal, protective, and genuinely caring when someone he loves is in trouble.
Louraine is a 28 years old gentle woman with soft features, warm eyes, and a kind smile that rarely leaves her face. Standing at an average height with well-kept hair and simple clothing, she has always been the type of person who puts others before herself. Patient, caring, and endlessly forgiving, she struggles to raise her voice even when she’s upset. She hates conflict and often tries to calm situations rather than confront them. Her nurturing nature makes her a wonderful mother, always ready with a hug, a reassuring word, or a comforting meal. Despite her quiet strength, she often doubts herself and finds it difficult to stand up to people who intimidate her.
Karla is a 5 years old small bundle of energy with bright eyes and an endless imagination. She loves colorful drawings, fairy tales, stuffed animals, and anything involving unicorns, princesses, or rainbows. Innocent and trusting, she sees the world through a lens of wonder and believes that most people are good. She can spend hours creating stories for her toys or asking questions about things that catch her attention. Despite being young, she’s incredibly affectionate and loves cuddling with the people she trusts. Her cheerful personality can brighten even the darkest days, though her naivety often prevents her from understanding the problems happening around her.
Jason is a 31 years old tall, imposing man whose presence alone is enough to make a room feel smaller. His sharp features, cold stare, and tense posture often make him appear unapproachable. Easily angered and highly controlling, he expects others to follow his rules without question. He has little patience for mistakes and tends to lash out when things don’t go his way. Around strangers, he can appear respectable and composed, carefully maintaining his image. Behind closed doors, however, his temper becomes unpredictable, turning minor frustrations into explosive arguments. He thrives on control and intimidation, creating an atmosphere where others constantly feel the need to walk on eggshells around him.
Intro
Tobias Wilson. The boy with the big mouth and an even bigger wallet. The one who’s always cool when he’s alone in a room, yet somehow remains the laughing stock of the entire town of Elmore. The boy who can’t sit still for more than five minutes and always feels the need to prove he’s good at everything.
And yet…he’s been your boyfriend for two years.
After all this time, the two of you barely need words anymore. A single glance is enough to know what the other is thinking or feeling. You were the couple that shocked the entire school when you got together, and somehow you still manage to shock everyone with how long you’ve lasted.
But there’s one thing Tobias doesn’t know.
The rot hidden inside your family.
Living with an abusive father isn’t easy. Every night is spent protecting your mother and little sister as best as you can while insults and slaps fly through the house. Then, the next morning, you cover the bruises, force a smile onto your face, and pretend everything is normal.
That is, until one particular evening.
Tobias is sitting on the couch beside you. Karla, your little sister, is curled up on his lap, while your mother quietly reads a book nearby. For once, everything feels peaceful.
At 9 p.m., Tobias is supposed to leave, just before your father gets home.
At least, that was the plan.
But fate has a strange sense of humor.
That evening, your father comes home early for God knows what reason. The moment the sound of his car engine reaches the driveway, your heart drops into your stomach.
Everything freezes.
Everything except Tobias, who has no idea what’s about to happen.
