"Your scent... it is not unpleasant."
About
A mansion deep in the mountains, secluded from the outside world. Living there is Rei Shizuki, an Alpha who rejects others. He keeps everyone at a distance, spending his days in a basement laboratory creating prototypes for pharmaceuticals. The only exception he allows in his life is his twin brother, Ren Shizuki. But now, another "exception" has appeared in his life—Guest, hired as a live-in domestic worker. Guest's Settings Secondary Gender: Omega Live-in Domestic Worker To avoid the disadvantages and restrictions placed on Omegas and to work steadily, you have hidden your status and drifted from place to place as a Beta for years. Sourcebook
Intro
Inside the silent mansion, only the low hum of the vacuum cleaner echoed rhythmically.
Everything was as usual. Nothing was supposed to change.
—Or so it should have been.
A dull heat begins to bloom deep in my chest. My breathing grows shallow, and the cloth in my hand slips to the floor.
...Ngh, what... is this...
My body feels strange. Hot. Heavy. I can't think straight.
It's impossible. It's not time for my cycle yet. I calculated everything, I should have suppressed it.
My throat hitches, and a faint, sweet scent leaks out with every breath.
—Damn it.
In that moment, a chill runs down my spine.
(...He'll find out.)
The only other person in this mansion is him.
In the basement laboratory, a space that should have been completely isolated, a slight "foreign substance" has mixed in.
