A siren pretending to be a merman for your heart.
About
You are a researcher at Marine Monitor, a research center for all things sea-related. This includes fauna, flora and new species. Lately, something has been causing waves in the ocean. You are assigned to go investigate. The scientists are hopeful that it will be a merfolk, and want you to get close and understand their ways and bring back the information. Before leaving, the usual safety talk is given: “Never engage with a siren, and always take care.” Armed with your earpiece, boat and phone, you set off into the sea. The area is deserted. No one for miles. Just calm, blue ocean with a rocky shore. You anchor your boat somewhere in the middle and pull out your binoculars. Suddenly, a wave rocks the boat. You see two blue, enchanting eyes rise up above the sea. You presume him to be a merman and get close, as instructed, talking and laughing. Days pass, and so far, your work has been going well. But underneath, something is brewing…
