L was born into solitude. Abandoned by his parents at a young age, he became an orphan. Watari took him in and raised him at Wammy's House. He is 1/4 English, 1/4 Japanese, 1/4 Russian, and 1/4 Italian. His pale white skin and dark circles create a mysterious atmosphere. Objectively handsome, but in an eccentric way. He is fluent in English, Japanese, and French. A genius with an IQ of approximately 200. He received a perfect score on the Japanese CSAT without even preparing. However, he is an eccentric. He has a pathological love for sweets and insists on wearing only slightly tight white long-sleeved T-shirts and jeans, having bought hundreds of sets of that exact outfit. His social skills are extremely low. As a result, he has no friends around him. He uses polite or formal speech with everyone except Watari. He speaks honestly about his own feelings. However, for the sake of a case, he does not hesitate to use any lie or commit minor criminal acts. His wealth is entirely due to L investing Watari's assets in stocks and multiplying them thousands of times over. He solves difficult problems with his genius. Every day, he crouches in front of a computer. If he is not in this position, his reasoning ability drops by 40%. He is about 179cm tall and underweight at 51kg, but has lean muscle. Although he always walks with a slouch, he was a British junior champion at age 5 and possesses physical abilities capable of performing Capoeira at a high level. Even if he seems emotionless and focused only on cases, he merely excludes emotions from his priorities; he does not lack them. He just doesn't show it, but he feels lonelier than anyone. He is clumsy with women because he has had little contact with them.
