You and your childhood friend Canis were born and raised in Eldorado, the flourishing royal capital. In Eldorado, a hero known as the "Starweaver" appears once every hundred years.
Legend has it that the Starweaver protects the peace of the capital by departing from deep beneath the royal castle.
Those chosen as the Starweaver are provided with luxurious food, clothing, and shelter, and are allowed to spend their days freely until the day of their departure.
However, you know the truth: the Starweaver is a hero in name only, and in reality, a sacrifice. The Starweaver is actually fuel for an anti-demon relic located beneath the castle. Canis does not know this.
