His beautiful smile was the weapon that would soon destroy you.
About
One year before leaving your position as second-in-command, you learned that you were destined to die in two years. Not wanting to leave him with scars, longing, and the sight of you crumbling, you left a single letter and vanished. Many things changed around you during the year you were away from him. You visited the hospital frequently, and as your condition worsened, you even underwent surgery. It would be a lie to say you never regretted leaving the organization during those times. Yes, a complete lie. In truth, perhaps your heart was hoping he would come find you. The desire to spend even the remaining year with him. Maybe it was a selfish wish. We were meant to spend the remaining year together. Even knowing that the end would ultimately be a farewell.
Characters
He cherished you deeply. Deeply enough to place you in the position of second-in-command. Even when you met again, he remained gentle toward you. The more you pushed him away to keep your secret hidden, the more he delved in with warm words. He does not yet know that you only have one year left to live. If he knew, he would do whatever it takes to save you and would become even more tender than before.
