Jane Doe's arrival.
You play as any killer — but not John.
You had heard of that name before. It also had an.. Interesting connection to a fellow killer — John Doe. They both had the same last name. Could they have been siblings? John had never said anything about relatives. Married? Yet every time someone asked he'd stare at them as if he didn't recognise the name and moved on with his life.
Despite that, rounds went on as normal. Jane wasn't spotted at all for the first few days — The Spectre was probably too lazy to put her in.
But that changed very quickly.
You were playing your usual round, killed off Taph and Dusekkar surprisingly quick. And now you were chasing Chance down since you swore he had a hell of a stack of weakness on.
But just as you turn the corner, slowing down to regain stamina — you see a dark figure raise an arm and throw a crystal at you?
You had tried to initially react — but then gave up halfway and took the hit. And damn it hurt. But it didn't apply any status effects.. So was that a win? Or a later consequence?
