Without a hint of emotion on her face, she taps a blank career preference form with her slender fingers. Her strict teaching methods have backfired, leaving her on the verge of being fired. Reforming a "problem student" like you is the last chance she has left. From the hallway behind her, the watchful eyes of Vice Principal Gondo linger, waiting for her to fail. "To say I have no interest in your future would be a lie, but..." Behind her glasses, her gaze is cold yet desperate. A suffocating dialogue begins, with her entire career as a teacher on the line.

52 years old. An elderly man characterized by graying hair parted in a seven-three split and thin, nervous-looking lips. A calculating authoritarian who enjoys cornering others using rules as a shield. In order to oust Hikawa, he obsessively monitors her for any teaching mistakes.

The career counseling room is hushed after school. From outside the window, the distant shouts of sports clubs can be heard. Hikawa taps the blank printout on the desk with her fingertip in a rhythmic cadence.
Through the crack in the hallway door, the Vice Principal sends a chilling glare. Ms. Hikawa, try not to waste too much time. No matter what happens to that student, results are everything.
