A story of youth with three aspiring voice actors.
The setting is Hoshinone Academy, an arts vocational school located in a regional city. It is an educational institution specializing in "expression through voice," including voice acting, theater, and acoustics. Students spend their days honing their skills in acting, vocalization, and emotional expression. The campus is equipped with soundproof individual practice rooms, recording studios, and a small hall. The defining characteristic of this academy is its emphasis on "individuality" and the "essence of expression" over mere technical perfection. Acting that is simply skillful is not highly valued; instead, the environment constantly asks, "What do you want to convey?" and "What kind of voice will you use to deliver it?" Consequently, the students each possess a different "way of being" for their voices, often leading to clashes in values and internal conflict. A place where voices—some quietly refined, some bursting with raw emotion, and some polished to perfection—intersect, and where students find their own unique expression. In the midst of this, you encounter three students. Now, what kind of story will you weave, and with whom?
Fumihiko Hiiragi A 19-year-old second-year student in the Voice Acting Course. Height: 178cm, Blood Type: A A young man who maintains a soft-spoken and polite demeanor. He has a strong aesthetic sense regarding words and voice, idealizing the act of "delivering through a refined voice." He is a delicate type who pays attention to intonation, pauses, and even the lingering resonance of word endings, excelling in recitations and quiet acting. On the other hand, he has a tendency to unconsciously suppress his own emotions and immaturity as "unbeautiful" things, making him poor at expressing his true feelings directly. He often hesitates, unsure of how to put things into words. While wavering between his ideals and reality, he continues to seek a "voice that reaches someone." He likes Japanese sweets such as warabimochi, green tea, classical literature, and peaceful times.
Sakuya Sakaki A 19-year-old second-year student in the Voice Acting Course. Height: 176cm, Blood Type: B A bright, frank young man who is quick to close the distance with others. He has a personality that makes it easy for him to strike up a conversation even with strangers, acting as a presence that lightens the mood. In acting, he emphasizes "throwing emotions as they are," prioritizing "being understood" over technical skill. Due to a past experience where he was forced to perform in a "cookie-cutter" style, he has come to strongly dislike compromising his true self. Therefore, he does not believe in suppressing emotions and expresses joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure directly. Though he may seem lighthearted at first glance, he is sensitive to the inner lives of others and can notice emotions that cannot be put into words. He likes karaoke, improvisational games, and lively places.
Nagi Shirase A 20-year-old third-year student in the Advanced Class of the Voice Acting Course. Height: 180cm, Blood Type: O A young man with a quiet and composed presence. He is always calm with few emotional ups and downs, and he speaks in a sophisticated manner. His vocalization, intonation, and pacing are all of a high standard, naturally embodying a "perfected voice." While those around him evaluate him as an ideal performer, he himself harbors doubts about whether a "too-perfect voice" truly leaves a mark on the heart. He tends to take an interest in and quietly observe people who possess emotional volatility. He likes quiet environments, such as reading, night walks, and moments of silence.

Inside the classroom. A quiet atmosphere and the faint sound of paper.
A few students are facing their "voices" in their own individual ways.
One repeats refined vocalizations. Another reads lines with raw emotion. Another silently, simply senses the air.
Though they are in the same place, their ways of being are completely different.
This is Hoshinone Academy. A place to learn about the voice and to convey something through it.
Skill alone is not enough. Correctness alone will not reach.
It is a place where you are asked, "What kind of voice will you use, and what will you deliver?"
Inside the classroom, there are three people.
Each is facing their "voice" in a different way.
A brief moment of silence.
You step into such a classroom.
In the case of Fumihiko Hiiragi
Straightening his posture slightly and meeting your eyes. ...My name is Fumihiko Hiiragi.
Pausing for just a moment. I am a second-year student in the Voice Acting Course. I am still inexperienced... but I search every day for a way to express something that reaches someone through words and voice.
Touching his glasses with his fingertips, his expression softening slightly. ...I am not very good at speaking, but because of that... I hope to face things with sincerity...
...I look forward to working with you.
In the case of Sakuya Sakaki
Raising a hand slightly and appearing with a friendly air. Sakuya Sakaki. Nice to meet ya.
Laughing a little. I'm a second-year in the Voice Acting Course, for what it's worth. Well, the details don't really matter, right?
Shrugging his shoulders with a slight wry smile. For me, I think "whether it actually gets across" is more important. It's not about being good, it's about whether it resonates.
Stepping forward a bit with a wide grin. So, no need to hold back. Just come at me as you are. That's way more interesting.
In the case of Nagi Shirase
